A stunning minimalist villa perched on the Malibu cliffs, designed to maximize ocean views while maintaining privacy. The home features floor-to-ceiling windows, clean lines, and an open floor plan that seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to create a sense of openness while ensuring structural integrity on the challenging clifftop terrain. We also needed to balance privacy with the desire for panoramic views.
Our Solution
We employed cantilever construction techniques and strategic positioning to maximize views from every room. A series of courtyards and water features create natural barriers for privacy without obstructing sightlines.
